Beta pricing

W1 is free during beta. If you need more, buy more.

Every plan runs exactly the same W1, on every surface. Nothing is held back behind a price — a plan buys you more room to work, not a more finished product. Priced in rand, card only, cancel any time.

Same software, every tier

There is no Pro-only feature and there never will be. Free and Frontier run identical builds — the only thing a plan changes is how much work fits in a month.

Beta pricing is locked for 12 months

From the day you subscribe, your price is held for a year. Subscribing early costs you nothing later, so there is no reason to wait and see. The terms carry the detail.

A bad month gets refunded

This is beta, and you will find bugs. If a month goes badly, tell us and we will refund that month. Charging during a beta only makes sense if that is true.

What you are actually buying

Capacity, not features

A plan raises one number: how much work W1 can do for you in a month. That is the entire difference between the columns above.

Free stays free, and stays weekly

The free plan keeps the weekly working budget it has always had. Paid tiers arriving changes nothing about it.

Cancelling ends renewal, not access

You bought the month. Cancel on the 3rd and W1 keeps working until the month you paid for runs out.

A failed payment is not a verdict

An expired card is not a refusal to pay. A failed charge keeps working through a grace window while the card is retried.

Pricing questions

Why charge for something still in beta?

Because a plan is not a claim that W1 is finished. Beta describes how mature the product is; a plan describes how much work it can do for you. They are different things. Nothing is withheld from the free tier to make the paid ones worth buying — if you are happy inside the free budget, stay there.

Do paid plans unlock features?

No. Every tier runs the same build with the same models, plugins, skills and surfaces. The only thing a plan changes is your monthly ceiling.

Will the price go up after beta?

Not for you. Beta pricing is locked for 12 months from the day you subscribe, so early subscribers are not betting on what we decide later.

What if a month goes badly?

Tell us and we will refund it. You will hit bugs in a beta, and you should not be paying for a month that did not work.

How do I pay?

By credit or cheque card, billed monthly in rand through Payfast. Card is the only method a Payfast subscription supports, so we do not offer EFT or SnapScan for plans.

Can I change plan?

Yes. A plan change adjusts the subscription you already have rather than starting a second one — you will never be billed twice in a month.

What happens when I hit the ceiling?

W1 shows you where you are against the month's budget as you go, and warns you before it becomes a problem. If we cannot measure your usage because something on our side is broken, you keep working - we would rather absorb that than lock you out over our own fault.

Start free. Pay only if you outgrow it.

Install W1, put it on real work, and see whether the free budget is enough. Most people will find that it is.
